Atoms Volunteer at Green Lakes State Park

Syracuse Academy of Science high school Congressional Awards students help make the world a better place by giving back to the community by raking leaves at Green Lakes State Park.

Saturday, April 2nd, 2022—A beautiful spring day, an afternoon spending time with your friends, volunteering and giving back to the community. All in a day’s work for the Syracuse Academy of Science high school Congressional Awards students.

Last weekend, the Atoms dedicated a portion of their day to giving back to the community by raking leaves at Green Lakes State Park. The hours spent raking leaves will go towards the total volunteer hours needed for the Congressional Awards program. Way to go, Atoms; we are so proud of you!
