Monday, December 2, 2019—Effective Monday, December 2nd, a new direct service will begin for all Syracuse Academy of Science High School students who are eligible for transportation. We understand this transition will be an adjustment for students. However, this direct service will provide ease of travel and eliminate the need to transfer, with the exception of a minimal number of students.

The routes are mapped to cover various neighborhoods based on the information we were provided. The routes cover the same areas from home-school (AM) and from school-home (PM). We encourage all students to download the app and add their respective bus number. This will allow the students to be able to track their school bus.

Thursday, October 24, 2019—QuestBridge is a competitive program that supports students to go to its partner (top) colleges with a full ride scholarship. With over $2 billion offered to QuestBridge students at their college partners, this amount only continues to grow. It's our honor and privilege to share with you that one of our students in the class of 2020 has qualified as a QuestBridge Finalist. Congratulations to Samantha! We wish you the best of luck and hope you can be matched with the school of your choice.

Wednesday, November 20, 2019—Join Syracuse Academy of Science High School as it hosts its monthly Coffee & Conversation on Wednesday, November 20th at 5:00 PM. Our goal to provide a space for open dialogue on topics that unite us. We hope you can join us.

Monday, December 2, 2019—We are excited to announce, starting Monday, December 2nd, Centro will be providing direct busing for high school Atoms! We would like to thank the Centro team, the district and the city of Syracuse for helping make this option possible for our students. Please stay tuned for more details. 

Monday, November 11, 2019—In observance of Veterans Day, there will be no school on Monday, November 11^th. Classes will resume on Tuesday, November 12^th. Enjoy this long weekend, Atoms!

Tuesday, November 5, 2019—There will be no school on Tuesday, November 5^th for Election Day. Classes will resume on Wednesday, November 6^th. Staff is still required to report. Enjoy the day off, Atoms!

Saturday, November 2, 2019—Join Syracuse Academy of Science High School for a fundraiser at Chipotle to support the high school Music Program. Friday, October 25, 2019—The Middle School invites you to enjoy the pasta-bilities at their Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, October 25^th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Syracuse Academy of Science High School. We will be serving up some delicious Italian cuisine, please see the menu below. The cost to attend is $10.00 per adult and $8.00 per child. We hope you can attend!

Wednesday, October 23, 2019—High school Atoms invite you to take a stand against bullying and unite for kindness, acceptance and inclusion on Wednesday, October 23rd. As part of October's National Bullying Prevention Month, Unity Day is an opportunity for everyone to come together in one giant orange message of hope and support. Students will have an opportunity to wear orange if they have signed and turned in their anti-bullying pledge card. Together we can unite against bullying.
