Saturday, February 27th, 2021—Syracuse Academy of Science High School's National Honor Society invites you to join them for this delicious fundraiser on Saturday, February 27th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Chipotle Mexican Grill (3496 Erie BLVD. East). Orders can be placed online with contactless pickup or for indoor dining. 33% of your order proceeds will be donated to Syracuse Academy of Science. Please see the ordering details below.

Tuesday, February 16th, 2021—Syracuse Academy of Science will have no school on Tuesday, February 16^th through Friday, February 19^th for Winter Recess. Classes will resume on Monday, February 22^nd. Enjoy this long weekend, Atoms and remember to stay healthy, safe and warm!

Thursday, February 11th, 2021—Syracuse Academy of Science high school invites you to join them virtually on Thursday, February 11^th for a Digital Services Presentation. The goal of this event is to provide additional support, and information on the tools and resources your student is using in their digital classrooms and will continue to use throughout their academic career at Syracuse Academy of Science.

There will be two sessions offered, the same information will be shared at both sessions. The first will be at 9:00 AM, and the second in the evening at 7:00 PM. Please see the links below for each of the Zoom meetings. We hope to virtually see you there!

Friday, February 5th, 2021—Syracuse Academy of Science high school National Honor Society is hosting a Donation Drive to benefit the Dunbar Center, an organization that aims to enhance the quality of life, break the cycle of generational poverty and develop racial equality in the Syracuse community.

The Dunbar Center is in need of the following items:

• Non-perishable food items
• Hygiene products (i.e. deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, lotion, etc.)
• Feminine care products
• Hand sanitizer
• Disinfectant wipe

Donations can be dropped off at Syracuse Academy of Science high school in the main office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Consider donating today to help those in need in our community! The Donation Drive runs now through Friday, March 5^th.

Thursday, February 11th, 2021—Syracuse Academy of Science elementary school invites you to join them virtually for their 2nd Annual STEM Night on Thursday, February 11^th. Atoms and their families will have the opportunity to explore various careers in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and math). You will even have a chance to go on a scavenger hunt around your home and create your own STEM challenges. It will be a fun night for the whole family. Please check your Google Classroom for more information and details.

Tuesday, February 9th, 2021—Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School Picture Retake Day will be scheduled for the following two dates.

• Tuesday, February 9th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
• Thursday, February 11th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Picture Retake Day will take place in the cafeteria. If you would like your child to get their picture taken, please bring them on either day during the designated time frame. Appointments are not required. Please contact the elementary school's main office with any questions.

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021—Words cannot describe how thankful we are for our school counselors. These esteemed professionals have touched the lives of many and helped the Atoms achieve academic excellence and success both inside and outside the classroom. To say that we are forever grateful is an understatement. Thank you, school counselors for all your hard work, dedication and listening to all of our students, this means so much to all of us at SANY.
