SAS Atoms Dive Into Independent Reading

Thursday, September 17th, 2026: Students in Ms. Nicoletti’s 7th-grade ELA class at Syracuse Academy of Science are diving into independent-choice novels as they prepare for their quarterly Book Talk project.

Through this project, students have the opportunity to choose books that interest them, explore different perspectives, and develop their reading comprehension and communication skills. As they prepare to share their thoughts and insights, students are putting their own voices at the center of their learning.

It’s exciting to see our SAS Atoms enjoying their books while building a lifelong love of reading!
