Sunday, May 31st, 2026: Mission accomplished! Congratulations to the Syracuse Academy of Science Middle School rocket team, Mission Impulsible I, for an outstanding performance at the Museum of Science & Technology's Rocket Challenge. Demonstrating impressive engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, the team successfully launched their rocket to an impressive height of 228 feet.
Following its flight, the rocket deployed its parachutes flawlessly, allowing it to return safely to the ground. Most importantly, the team's courageous "Eggstronaut" completed the mission unharmed, landing safely without a scratch.
We are incredibly proud of these young engineers for their hard work, creativity, and dedication. Their success is a testament to their STEM knowledge and perseverance as they reached new heights and accomplished their mission with excellence.
