A Zoo-per Day at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo
Friday, October 22nd, 2021—On a brisk fall day, the 6th grade Atoms at Syracuse Academy of Science middle school embarked on an urban safari field trip to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
During their visit, Atoms had an opportunity to see all creatures great and small. Students saw Rosamond Gifford Zoo’s newest animal Bjorn the Andean Bear, a family of Asian Elephants, Amur Tigers Zeya and Thimbu, Bactrian Camels Patrick and George, a variety of monkeys and of course the Humboldt Penguins. No zoo visit is ever complete without a group picture pretending to be penguins.
It's safe to say this was by far the ‘Best Day Ever!’ Thank you, Rosamond Gifford Zoo for a zoo-per experience, and a day we will always remember. Please click here to visit our Facebook page to view more pictures from the 6th Grade Atoms field trip to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
