4th-Grade Atoms are Middle School Bound!

Syracuse Academy of Science elementary school’s 4th-grade students toured the middle school, and met with 5th-grade teachers prior to their moving up ceremony.

Monday, June 13th, 2022We all know moving to a new place can be very challenging and sparks many questions, especially when transitioning from elementary to middle school. Atoms Bend It Like Beckham During Soccer Match

Syracuse Academy of Science high school hosted its annual Students vs. Staff soccer match at Syracuse Indoor Sports Center, where the staff won 11-9.

Friday, June 3rd, 2022Syracuse Academy of Science high school hosts its annual Students vs. Staff soccer match each year. This friendly (yet competitive) game has been a favorite among the students and the staff. Year after year, the staff have always proved to be victorious. Will this year follow the same trend? Let's find out!

Leading up to the last week of school, Atoms and the Syracuse Academy of Science high school staff headed to the Syracuse Indoor Sports Center for their time-honored tradition of the Students vs. Staff soccer match. To prepare for this annual competition, the staff had to call on a bit of reinforcement (aka Atoms alumni) to keep their winning streak alive. After weeks of practice, warm-up drills, and stretching, the staff once again proved to be victorious amongst the students with a final score of 11-9.

We want to thank Mr. Bility for organizing this year's Students vs. Staff Soccer Match; Mr. Tabbara, Mr. Usher, and Mr. Cummings were the game's MVPs. All your hard work certainly has not gone unnoticed; thank you! We also want to give a quick shout-out to everyone who was able to show their support during this time-honored Syracuse Academy of Science high school tradition. We wish the Atoms the best of luck next year!

These activities include coloring a giant sheet of paper, a paint by colors station, and making their own Atoms Spinner. In addition to this exhibit, guests were encouraged to visit the 'silly photo station' to commemorate this moment.

We want to thank all the teachers, faculty, and staff who helped make this event possible and our fabulous art patrons (aka parents, families, and friends) for their continuous support throughout the years.
