Syracuse Academy of Science Holds Annual 3rd Grade Spelling Bee

Thursday, December 7th, 2023: Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School Atoms competed in the annual 3rd Grade Spelling Bee! Spellers have been practicing for weeks, and the competition was tough, with over 30 students trying to spell their way to the top. 2nd graders enjoyed watching their classmates and maybe even practicing a little for next year!

Some words that stumped our competitors were Oddity, Yesterday, and Bronze. The competition was won on the word Sewing!

Everyone tried their best, and we are proud of all our competitors! The top three spellers were awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons!
