A shortage of students in the fields of engineering and technology is a national problem, and SAS is committed to being part of the solution.

Throughout their time at SASCS, students master a range of technology skills, from keyboarding to programming, from internet research to online safety, from Office applications to digital photo and video editing.

The school maintains an exceptional ratio between students and computers. Each division has its own labs where scheduled instruction is given by teachers. Examples of equipment availability and instruction are as follows:
  

• For the current school year, the school has over 100 computers for student use. All are connected to the SAS network and the internet.
• Wireless access is available at the school.
• Every classroom has a minimum of one computer and one projector.
• We have two computer labs.
• The library has two desktop computers.
• There are additional computers throughout the school, and mobile laptop carts.
