At some point, almost every child will bring home a bad report card. It may not be a cause for alarm, but if you're seeing a pattern of poor grades or his/her teacher has notified you that (s)he's struggling with a specific subject, it may be time to consider tutoring.
An after school tutoring program is a good idea. Often grades are a reflection more of a student's ability to get the homework done than a reflection of the student's comprehension or intelligence.
How to schedule a tutoring at SAS:
Step 1: We first think about what subjects you would like covered and who you would like to tutor your child.
Step 2: We decide together if you want the tutoring to be focused on one subject per day, or focused on teaching or re-teaching a current lesson or concept.
Step 3: We present our plan in a professional manner. Plans carefully and complete all paperwork necessary to get the program approved.
Step 4: Encourage students to plan to come to receive help to improve their grades and understanding.
We study with our students one-to-one so it is more helpful for them to improve themselves.
