5th & 6th Graders went to Everson Museum of Art

Starting on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017, the 5th and 6th grade students of the Syracuse Academy of Science had the opportunity of traveling to the Everson Museum of Art, located in downtown Syracuse. The Everson is home to approximately 11,000 works of art such as paintings, sculptures, drawings, videos, graphics, and one of the largest holdings of international ceramics in the nation. The students were broken up into small groups and each group had a docent that took them on a tour of the museum, explaining the artwork and history of each piece Our SAS atoms made us very proud with their knowledge of art, their kindness, and ambition to learn
