On Friday May 14, 2010 our ninth grade students went to Auburn to learn about and visit the William H. Seward House, The Harriet Tubman House and Fort Hill Cemetery, where both are buried. They were very interested to learn all about the contributions that both historical figures made to our country and to see the homes in which they lived and worked. The students represented the school with respect and integrity. One group of students was able to meet Mrs. Cope Johnson (pictured with the students) who is the Grand-Niece of Harriet Tubman. This was a thrill for them.
