Brandon Newsome and Darion Brown of the SASCS Track and Field team keep their season alive. They both qualified for the Regional Finals by competing and winning the Section III pentathlon, 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash Championships on May 27th, 2010. Darion Brown won three of the five events in which he competed in pentathlon. Brandon Newsome competed in multiple events, winning the 100 meter dash, and the 200 meter dash, setting a personal best in the 200 with a 23.7 as his final time. Track members Trayvon Wynn, Troy McGriff and Kory Pierre also participated in the Sectional Championships in the 4 by 100 meter track relay with Brandon Newsome. Wynn also participated in the Triple-Jump. CONGRATULATIONS SAS ATOMS and expect to see your support at REGIONALS.
