Syracuse Academy of Science Charter School

SAS’s eleventh grade students toured SUNY Oswego on February 11th. Students met with admissions counselor Monico Soto and saw an informational video about the school before taking a tour with Oswego students to see what college life is all about! Students enjoyed seeing Oswego’s state-of-the-art student center that includes a hockey rink, radio station and television station. Students also got to peak into college classrooms and a dorm room.

SAS English teacher, Ms. Paradise, said, “It’s great for students to see a real college campus because, in a year, they will be making the decision about where to spend their college years. We had a lot of fun.”
