SAS ATOMS become OHSL Patriot National League Champs(16-2)! |

Syracuse Academy’s boys varsity basketball team the Atoms, posted a record-setting 16 wins this season, with 8 wins in a row at the end of the regular season and become OHSL Patriot National League Champions(16-2). This is the best showing the varsity team has had in the last four years. The Atoms made their first appearance in OHSL National basketball league in 2006-2007. Since then, the basketball program at SAS has grown and the varsity team is coached by Onur Gokce for two years. This year’s varsity team has continued to build on the lessons and successes of previous years and insist to be a strong contester for the league and section III championship, and we can look forward to greater things to come in the 2010-2011 year!
