SAS ES Celebrates Creativity on International Dot Day

Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School Atoms Create Dot Art Inspired by International Dot Day

Thursday, September 14th, 2023: Have you heard about International Dot Day? It’s celebrated every year on September 15th. The holiday is inspired by a children's book written by Peter H. Reynolds called "The Dot" in 2003 to celebrate creativity. The plot is about a girl named Vashti who discovers her artistic talent. Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary Atoms in Ms. A-B's classroom celebrated their originality by reading "The Dot" and making all kinds of Dot Day art!

This is one of our favorite days to celebrate and we hope our Atoms will always be courageous with their unique expressions of creativity!
